It is our responsibility to give you as much information as possible if you are interested in doing a Waterfall Wedding! Maui does not get a lot of rain except in the tropical forests and mountain areas in certain locations. This waterfall is about 1/2 way to Hana. There are a couple of different levels and it is very beautiful on a sunny day. If it rains on the day of your wedding you would have to change to a backup plan. There is a danger of flash floods in these areas. The other obstacle is that if it does not rain for a few weeks there could be no water at the fall. We would then again change to our backup plan. We love to do weddings like this but we want you to know that it is a challenge. It is a challenge we are willing to take if you are. We just want you to be informed! There is also a beach on the way back from the waterfall that we would stop and do photos at if you wished. |
