With Maui becoming the number one wedding destination in the world more and more couples are seeking out private places to hold their weddings and receptions. Romantic Maui Weddings can help you with your plans whether you use a hotel, beach, park or private home. We do not suggest you use a beach if you have over 15 people attending or if you have elderly guests that can not handle walking or standing for a time. Our weddings are usually a total of 1 and 1/2 hours long when you have a photo package.

If you are planning a reception for your guests after the wedding a private home offers the space and the possibility of catering and buying your own liquor which saves you a lot of money. When using a resort you must purchase any food or beverage from them and this can be pretty costly.

Below you will find several different private options. There are many price ranges and possibilities available, from homes to golf resorts. When you think how much Hotels are this option can save you money as well as give you the privacy you may want. Cottage by the Sea

This is a great location in Maui for a private wedding and reception. It is like having a party in your own back yard on the ocean. It is located in Kaanapali just above Lahaina. This location is great for weddings and receptions. It is perfect if your group is 40 people or less. Mornings are the best time to get the aqua blue water and sky. The price includes the use of the grounds and the cottage for one night. If you want an early wedding and luncheon we suggest you spend the night before. For a sunset wedding and reception you might want to spend the night of the wedding there.This Location is only available with the honeymoon cottage. The main cottage has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and 3 bathrooms. It has just recently been remodeled and become available for weddings again! We are very excited about that! The price to stay in the cottage and use the lawn for a reception is $4,000 for just one day. If you wish to stay for additional days the price is $1800 per day for the first two days. For 3 or more day the price is $1500 per day. So 3 day would be $4500 plus tax. All menus and the bar have to be done through the resort. Click here to see inside of Cottage. To reserve the cottage you would need to send the full $2500 for the first night. A $1000 damage deposit will also be needed but that can be by credit card. This deposit of $1000 will be refunded on checkout if there is no damage.

Kaanapali Beach Ballroom This room can be used for small or large receptions. It is perfect for a morning or early afternoon wedding and reception. The view is extremely beautiful and peaceful. You can do a wedding at anytime during the day with a brunch or lunch reception. Click on the photos to see enlargements.

Olowalu Oceanfront
Weddings and Receptions

This location is half way between Kihei and Lahaina. It is very private and has a large grassy area on the ocean. It can accommodate up to 200 people. There is a large parking lot and a large grassy area on the ocean that is great for the wedding and reception. If the weather should be threatening we use a tent which also adds a great party atmosphere. There is a large concrete dance floor and stage.We can do our menus and our bar at this location. Fee includes use of the grounds and main part of the house for the day. The Bride may use a bedroom for dressing. All music must end at 10:00!

Ground Fees: Daily Rate – Monday through Thursday (2pm-10pm) Under 50 people $6000.00 50-99 People $7000.00 100-149 People $8000.00 150-200 People $9000.00 Daily Rate – Friday, Saturday and Sunday (2pm-10pm) Under 50 people $7000.00 50-99 People $8000.00 100-149 People $9000.00 150-200 People $10,000.00 A 1/3 deposit is required. Balance due 30 days prior to event! A security deposit of 10% is also required at this time which is returned if everything is fine after the function. Any cancellation must be at least 180 days in advance to receive a refund on the deposit!

Lahaina Ocean View

This premier event location is privately owned. It is Tucked in below the West Maui mountains and sits a 27 acre USDA certified organic farm with stunning ocean views, plenty of parking, large bathrooms, two expansive lawns and much more. Aside from being one of the most beautiful locations in Hawaii, this USDA certified organic farm grows many agricultural crops. It is great for a destination wedding, wedding receptions, or corporate events.

Wailea Gazebo

We have this location under resort locations as well. Even though it is located at a resort it is a small Boutique Style Hotel. However, picture it without the Gazebo as the tore it down not too long ago. Now it is a clean slate that we can do what we want on. The wedding and reception areas are very private. This is one of our favorite places to do weddings and receptions. There is a huge lawn with great ocean views and there is a pool area and an indoor ballroom with air conditioning for receptions as well. At this lawn location we can bring in our own caterers and bartenders. The other locations have to be catered through the resort. The fee for this lawn location at sunset is $2,500. There are many areas on the property for dinners or receptions! Here you see a private platform near the pool that is great for small parties. The price to use the platform is $350 with a minimum of $100 per person in Food and Beverage. The pool deck you see above on the right is $2500 to use for a reception.

This beautiful lawn area is available for weddings and is great either at sunset or in the morning.

Molokini View House
		This house is located in Makena and is great if you want a home on the ocean to both stay for your vacation and do a wedding and reception. Five day minimum stay is required. Call if you would like to see more photos. 800 808-4144. They only allow small weddings and receptions.

The Wedding Knoll

The Wailea Ocean View is fabulous for a morning or sunset weddings. If you are a morning person you will appreciate the aqua color of the water. Then you can have a nice breakfast or brunch right there with the same great view! Mornings or sunset are best do to the heat. There are several different areas to take beautiful photographs! This location is great if you want an ocean view but do not want to get sand on your feet. The knoll can accommodate groups up to 30 comfortably. If you have 75 or more people you may want to buy out the entire restaurant for the evening. It is perfect for your own private party.

Overlooking the ocean from the slopes of Haleakala, this restaurant is one of our favorite on the South side of Maui. They have great food, fabulous views and affordable prices. Perfect for large or intimate wedding dinners! They are glad to accommodate you with your own private area out on the lawn if it is available.

The Fee is $400 for the wedding knoll if you have your dinner there as well. If you use the Knoll for the wedding only and go somewhere else for dinner the fee is $450.This does include 30 chairs. Additional chairs are $3.00 each. There is a wonderful restaurant just above, that is perfect for a small reception. You want to avoid the middle of the day due to the hot sun. There are several different private reception areas at this location and they all have different fees. There is no additional grounds fee if you just eat in the restaurant. This is the Molokini Lookout at the same location. It is perfect for larger groups.If you click on the photo you will see an enlargement. The fee for this location is $950.

Kihei Ocean Front

This is a very nice location with everything you need for your wedding and reception!It was built just for private events. It can be used for just a ceremony or a ceremony and reception for up to 300 people. There are two bars. One is inside and one is outside.There is also a mezzanine with a spiral staircase for wedding photos, and plenty of parking.

Central Maui Ocean View

This is a fabulous place for a small or large wedding. It is truly a magical place to be married. It is also a great place for a wedding reception be it small or large as well. It can hold hundreds of people with no worries if it should be bad weather (not likely). There are several different locations for the ceremony. A Gazebo for small weddings, a chapel like area with an ocean background and a large lawn area that would work as well. There are many acres of privacy here and the main building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is absolutely beautiful and quite affordable as well! It is $750 to use the wedding location.

Makena Oceanfront

This private home on the ocean in Makena can be used for a wedding and reception for up to 500 people. You do not have to stay here to use. If you just want it for the day for your wedding the price is $2870.00 for up to 75 people. With 75 to 150 people the price is $3330.00. There is also a non-refundable cleaning fee of $150. Be sure to call us early in your planning stages to reserve this great spot! The deposit fee required is $1000 plus the cleaning fee. It can also be used on short notice (90 days out) for half price if you only want to use it for your wedding. This property is for sale so we can only use it for weddings until May of 2017.

This home is quite spacious and well furnished! There are 2 large bathrooms and a washer and dryer as well.			The living room, dinning and kitchen are all one open large space. There is a large patio and a jacuzzi for you to relax in.
This point is a great place to do a Wedding Arch.It is surrounded by water. Kahoalawe and Molokini are in clear view.			This is also a nice area for the ceremony. It is especially nice for a morning wedding. There is quite a bit of shade for you.

Holy Innocents Lawn Located in Lahaina or West Maui
	This is the lawn area on the ocean which can be used for the actual wedding or in addition to the Chapel for photos. It is not available for receptions. See Chapel! The fee for the Chapel and Lawn area together is $1,500.This includes the use of the chapel for the wedding service and the lawn by the ocean for photos. The total fee is required to reserve it and is non-refundable.

Kula Island View

About a 1/4 of the way up the side of Haleakala there is a beautiful location available for weddings and receptions now. It is a large lawn with just a hedge and you can look down and see water on both sides of Maui. If interested please call us for more information.
